At Suresh Chandra Nayak Social Welfare Foundation (SCNSWF), we deeply value the trust and generosity of every donor who contributes to our mission of making healthcare accessible and affordable for underserved communities in India.

We are committed to maintaining complete transparency, integrity, and fairness in all our financial and fundraising operations. This Refund and Donation Policy outlines the terms and conditions applicable to donations made through our website or other authorised channels.

Nature of Donations

All donations made to SCNSWF are treated as voluntary contributions to support our ongoing healthcare, medical relief, and social welfare initiatives.

Donors are requested to verify all details before confirming their contribution. Once a donation is made, it is immediately put to use for programmatic and operational purposes — including:

  • Medical camps
  • Mobile health units
  • Awareness drives
  • Maternal and child health initiatives
As a general policy, donations are non-refundable.

Refund Eligibility

However, in rare and genuine cases of error, duplicate payment, or unauthorised transaction, we do provide a transparent process for review and resolution.

You must notify us in writing within 7 working days of donating.

Send your request to:

Include: Full Name, Donation Amount, Transaction ID, Date, Mode of Payment.

Our finance team will verify and respond within 10–15 working days.

Refund Process

If approved, refunds will be processed using the same mode of payment as the original donation.

Bank or transaction charges may be deducted from the refundable amount.

Refunds typically take 10–20 working days after verification.

Duplicate Donations

If you unintentionally make the same payment twice, SCNSWF will:

  • Refund the extra amount after verification, or
  • Adjust it toward future projects with your consent

Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be granted for:

  • Donations to completed projects or campaigns
  • Funds already allocated or utilized
  • Donations with issued 80G tax receipts (per government rules)

Corporate & CSR Donations

Refund requests will follow the MoU or partnership agreement.

Any reallocation requires mutual consent and compliance with tax laws.

Third-Party Platforms

For donations via payment gateways or crowdfunding:

  • Refer to their refund terms
  • SCNSWF will assist in coordination
  • We are not liable for third-party delays

In-Kind Donations

Medicines, equipment, or supplies are non-returnable once accepted.

Defective or expired items will be:

  • Rejected, or
  • Redirected to partner institutions

Erroneous transactions may still qualify for refund before receipt issuance.
